This months motivator has to do with ANXIETY:
With all the storms and the loss of power down around us and still all of the unknown with the pandemic. I know that a lot of people are having higher than normal ANXIETY; as a parent of a special needs daughter, it can be even higher for us and families like mine during these times of such uncertainty, but there is hope in Jesus. See, God addressed this issue in Matthew 6:25-34 (NKJV).
It reads: “25Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on (cloths). Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them, are you not of more value than they? 27Which of you by worrying can add one bit to his stature? 28So why do we worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin: 29and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will HE not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31Therefore do not worry, saying, “What shall we eat? Or What shall we drink? Or What shall we wear?” 32For after all these things the Gentiles seek, For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33But seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”
God also answers this in Isaiah 41:10. It reads: “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; Yes, I will help you. I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
So, as the anxiety starts kicking in, remember that God is with you. God also knows what you are thinking and feeling. So, give it to him like he asks and you will find peace and comfort during these troubling and anxiety filled times. Which in Matthew 11:28-30, Jesus tell you to come to him for rest and he will give it to you. Also, again in Psalm 55:22, he asks for you to cast your burdens on him. Now I know that this is easier said than done just keep in mind that God is bigger than this world and we can conquer anything with him by our sides. Which is showed in Psalm 34:19 , Philippians 4:13, and many more in the bible.
